I am quite often asked if Pre-wedding shoots can be done with the family pet dogs, of course! Parks, woodlands, farmyards, countryside walks & any Cornish beach 🙂 – all a great opportunity to take the family pet for a fun walk & grab a few natural portraits. My pre-wedding portrait sessions are included in my wedding bookings, these are optional of course, but a lot of couples feel a little self-conscious to begin with, bringing the family dog along often helps and the whole session feels a lot more ‘normal‘. It’s a good idea to consider scheduling these in for early evenings, especially during the summer months for the best light, but spring & autumn walks are also fun if you don’t mind a little ‘cleaning up’ afterwards… Dogs have then made an appearance at the couples Wedding day on occasions, but many venues don’t allow pets to attend, so a framed print on display or inclusion in a signing frame is a great way for your pet to attend!
