Saturday 13th August 2011:
Kirsty & Andrew’s Wedding was held at Shaw House Registry Office in Newbury and the following Wedding Reception was at Mill Hall Newbury a few weeks ago. Mill Hall is part of the Mary Hare Charity for deaf children, the beauty of holding your Wedding Reception here is that all the money goes directly to the charity itself. The grounds are very extensive and the Hall itself has some wonderful architecture. I started in the morning with Kirsty and some of the bridesmaids in Wantage before heading over to the beautiful Elizabethan Grade I listed building of Shaw House, which also contains Newbury Registry Office. After a small family ceremony we nipped down into central Newbury to get some shots along the canal as Kirsty’s father was a very keen Canal enthusiast. Kirsty & Andrew had planned a gap in timings, before all the guests arrived at Mill Hall for the afternoon party, as it was race day in Newbury and the traffic was quite a challenge to get through! After some photos inside and out of Mill Hall and the Wedding Breakfast was over, the dancing got into full flow with a Barn Dance and the real ales (extensively sourced by Andrew where opened!).
