Saturday 20th August 2011:
An action packed day started early with James and his best men wild swimming in the River Windrush! Certainly a different way to ease any nerves on your big day! Sarah & the bridesmaids prepared for the day at The Cotswold Gateway Hotel in Burford, just a short drive away from the rural Stone Barn near Aldsworth, Gloucestershire. With beautiful Cotswold views, the Stone Barn is a relatively new Wedding Venue and it was my first Wedding here. The barns have a great atmosphere inside with dramatic corrugated iron, polished concrete, sawn oak floors and Britain’s largest barbecue! The weather outlook was not good, at best… but after a few early heavy showers the afternoon tuned out to be fabulous. Following the wedding breakfast and very entertaining speeches, a stomping evening of music by “ukulele supergroup!” The Rinky Dinks (featuring pete lashley).
