With the next Caswell House Open Day (8th March 2015) fast approaching again, its an honour to be one of the recommended Wedding photographers for Caswell House. Its great just to look back sometime’s, covering so many weddings a year it’s quite easy to forget as you move onto the next special day…. So I thought I’d share a Blog of Catherine & James Stunning Wedding day at St John’s Church, Hailey & the amazing Caswell House from June last year.
The annual Scarecrow week was also on in the village of Hailey & this year the celebrity theme included Elvis Presley, Elton John, Tina Turner & Freddie Mercury – as I live close to Hailey, I have always wondered if I could ever incorporate these into a wedding Blog!
My morning started at the stunning Old Swan & Minster Mill in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire, where Catherine & her bridesmaids were preparing for the day, before heading the short distance to Hailey to meet the guests arrive & the boys looking nervous! Classic Flowers of Witney provided all Catherine’s favourite beautiful flowers for the day – hydrangeas & peonies to match the Soft Pink & Cream colour scheme. Samantha from The Pretty Cake Company provided a stunning blush pink five tier cake (chocolate & lemon). The cake was decorated with swags of vintage pearls, each pearl individually hand lustred and with the occasional pearl highlighted in gold, with fresh flowers provided by classic flowers consisting of sweet avalanche roses, bombastic roses and gypsophila.
Such a beautiful day, its been a pleasure to re-live the day by doing this blog – here are a few of the many images I could have chosen from….
