Just a couple of days before Christmas Day itself last year, I had the pleasure of recording Lauren & Tom’s Wedding day story at the stunning Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. My day started at the impressive St Andrew’s Church on the outskirts of Oxford. Although some extensive re-developments of the church was going on it didn’t provide too much of a problem for any of the photos. Guests were ushered to their seats as Lauren arrived in a vintage Daimler. Following the ceremony & legal registrations there was a small drinks & canapé reception inside the church before I headed off with Lauren & Tom to get a few shots around the Palace grounds, before the guests arrived for the main drinks reception there. It just seemed like it was the windiest & coldest day of the year so far as we took a few shots from the Grand Bridge looking back at the Palace, well done to them both for braving the conditions! The Wedding breakfast & evening entertainment were held in the stunning Orangery room and being Christmas there was even time for a sparkler procession before the evening dancing started.
