My 2015 Wedding season started early for me this year on the 3rd January, with Victoria & John’s Ufton Court Winter Wedding. There were sparklers & fireworks laid on in the evening, I can’t think of a better way to usher in the new wedding season!
I met up with the girls early, in the Oxfordshire village of Blewbury, for their morning preparations and great to find Jules was doing the hair & make-up for the girls. Always lots of laughter when Jules is around & when the cardboard cat came out…well…non stop laughter! It was soon time to head off round to the nearby Church of St Michael & All Angels in Blewbury to meet the boys, the weather was, well, a typical cold, misty, damp January day as the guests arrived with an army of umbrellas. Not that the bridesmaids noticed much, as they were all very toasty in their hand made snow white jackets! Victoria had been getting very creative in the lead up to her wedding, making all the jackets, her own veil and many other personal touches at the Wedding. Following the ceremony and a crazy amount of lavender handed out for the confetti throw, we all headed off to the Wedding reception at the lovely Ufton Court in West Berkshire. I headed off with Victoria & John for a few shots around the venue before all the guests arrived then it was fully on partying through to the sparkler entrance, fireworks & first dance in the evening.
