Back in early May, before the Wedding season really kicked off & without a wedding to photograph that weekend….We found ourselves kids free, so we took off for a walking weekend in The Lake District. Our base was the lovely village of Braithwaite near Keswick, good pubs & walks straight onto the fells being our criteria! The Lake District is always spectacular, regardless of the weather, damp & moody I would like to describe day one on a lovely walk over Causey Pike and finished off with one or two local ales…. Day two a gentle stroll around the edge of Derwent Water as it was blowing a bit fiercely on top….. Here are a few images from the stunning scenery everywhere you look….. It’s been far too long since we last visited, must not leave to too long again to return……
