I was recently asked to create a series of promotional photo’s of 4 bespoke Wedding Cakes by The Pretty Cake Company based in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire. I have got to know Sam through the numerous times we have worked together on Wedding days & I am constantly blown away at her amazing cake creations, so I jumped at the chance! Many thanks must go to Eynsham Hall for allowing us to kindly use their grounds & facilities as a backdrop for these images….

“As someone who takes immense pride in the attention to detail of my work, very often clients will rely upon memories to remember their wedding cake and maybe a few long distance shots from their wedding photographer. Crochet Wedding Cake:
Perfect for a rustic wedding with handcrafted accessories. This cake has a cascade of crocheted flowers in cream, taupe and ivory, the tiers are trimmed with sugar crochet bands and sugar mismatched buttons. A crochet heart monogram sits on the top tier.
Blush Rose and Gold Leaf Wedding Cake:
is an imposing five tier wedding cake with a central gold leaf statement tier. The cake has pretty patches of piped lace with certain elements highlighted in gold. The cake is finished with beautiful pale blush roses, pink petunias and gold and ivory blossom flowers.
Luggage Cake:
Created in vintage colours of brown, duck egg blue, cream and eau de nil. Some cases were given a leather effect, all cases had gold clasps and locks and were finished with vintage sugar travel stickers.
Blush Pink Lace and Pearls with Dusky Pink Roses Wedding Cake:
This is an elegant four tier wedding cake with a ‘signature’ Pretty Cake lace piped design, strings of pearls on the top tier and arrangements of large pale pink roses, small dusky pink roses and sage green hydrangeas. The wonderful blue sky and white clouds was an amazing backdrop.
