Mia & Graeme’s Wedding was held on a beautiful September day at Worton Park. It was my first visit to Worton Park, a local new Wedding venue, located on a farm near Cassington in Oxfordshire. I met up with Mia, the girl’s & the boy’s in the morning to cover their preparations in the Old Rectory. With my previous discussions with Mia & Graeme at their pre-wedding shoot, I had a little insight into the work they had put into their Wedding preparations, however I really had no idea as to the amount of effort, design, craftiness of what they created for their special day! Mia’s seamstress skills shone in creating her own bespoke Wedding dress, along with making the bridesmaids outfits & her mothers dress. Making their own amazing Wedding cake, table decorations & photo-booth were no small task in themselves! They really did create their perfect Wedding the exactly the way they wanted. Graeme’s Wedding ring was also stunning, I’d never seen a mens gear ring before, it was certainly one of the many taking point during the day!
Guests soon started to arrive & the Wedding Ceremony was held in the Pagoda in the lovely gardens surroundings of the listed Old Rectory building. Its a short walk from the Old Rectory to the main barn following the ceremony, guests entered a wonderful enclosed area just outside the barn, where the outdoor drinks reception was being held. To add to the creative overload on display, Mia & Graeme’s families had been sourcing, collecting & maintaining a staggering range of outdoor potted plants, trees & greenery & had spent most of the previous day setting up this sunning display. The Wedding breakfast was then held in the huge converted barn with a fabulous gallery balcony overlooking the reception area. I sneaked Mia & Graeme out of the the Wedding breakfast for a very short time, to take the opportunity of evenings sunset, before the party got into full swing. Stephen from “The Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment” who I have worked with quite a few times, provided a great soundtrack to into the evenings dancing & enjoyment. A unforgettable day!
