The Feathered Nest Country Inn Wedding Photography – a lovely little Wedding to Blog today from September last year.

Alina & Matthew’s Wedding Day was held in the beautiful Cotswold venue of The Feathered Nest County Inn. Located in the Oxfordshire village of Nesther Westcote with fabulous views of the Evenlode valley. It was the first Wedding I had covered at The Feathered Nest. A few weeks before, I cycled over on a blisteringly hot day to check out the venue & sat in the grounds looking at the amazing view through the “kissing Trees”. The weather was “one of those days” for Alina & Matthew Wedding- sunshine & torrential heavy showers! So we had to be a little flexible as to when I could get the group shots etc done, it would have been a great shame if we couldn’t have used the amazing backdrops! Thankfully everything went nearly to plan. Alina even came prepared with plastic over shoes, their shots in the grounds of the Feathered Nest were going to be done whatever! A lot of thought had been put into all the detail by Alina & Matthew which was just fabulous to photograph. Classic Flowers of Witney supplied all the amazing bouquets on the day. The Feathered Nest was originally an Old Malthouse before being restored as few years ago, many original features and attention to detail inside & out. Check out the fabulous saddle seats at the bar – well I just had to have a go on them! It was a thoroughly enjoyable day (despite the rain). The Wedding breakfast food was just being served as I finished – I immediately felt hungry 🙂

    Good Afternoon Neil,

    It was a pleasure to speak to you today.

    As mentioned, we would be interested in obtaining some of the images from the wedding at The Feathered Nest in 2014. We are looking at the image of the main restaurant ( preferably without the high chair) and one with the shoes and mirror taken in the bedroom. If you had any more generic images, we would be happy to take a look.

    Moving forward, we would like to also recommend you as a preferred photographer for our clients.

    If you could please send through some price indication for a staged photo shoot.
