The Coseners House Abingdon Wedding Photography

Friday 7th September 2012:

What a stunning day Laura & Nick had on their Wedding Day back in early September last year, wall to wall blue skies!

After a short preparation shoot with Laura & her Bridesmaids, I was off to meet Nick & his best men at beautiful setting of St Michael’s Churchadjacent to Albert Park in Abingdon. St Michaels is a fabulous church, loads of room & a great circular pattern in the floor tiles at one end – perfect for the fish-eye effect! After a short delay & a nervous wait for Nick in the church, Laura arrived…. Following the ceremony, we all headed off across town to one of my favourite Oxfordshire Wedding venues – The Coseners House in Abingdon. Cosener’s House is set in a picturesque location on an island in the River Thames and also in the grounds of the mediaeval Abbey of Abingdon, near Oxford. Its name is taken from the Cuisinier or Kitchener (the official responsible for providing food for the Abbey). The grounds are just wonderful, spoilt for choice for nice spots with the faint noise of life on the River Thames nearby. Loved the little set of images from when the page boy grabbed a cheeky little kiss from the bridesmaid.. and her reaction! Laughter & bottles being chinked together were the evening sounds as the sun went down & the gardens descended into the evening…. then the dancing broke out with Nick & Laura choreographed first dance….

Wishing you both all the very best in the future, a few images from your day….
