Saturday 24th September 2011:
What a beautiful day it was for Lucie & Matt’s Wedding Day at St. Mary’s Church, Hurley & their Wedding Reception held at Bisham Abbey in Berkshire just a couple of weekends ago.. My morning started with a quick visit to the 11th Century St Mary’s Church to get a few images inside & out, before meeting up with Lucie & the bridesmaids in Hurley. Then a quick dash to the “Ye Olde Bell“ public house in Hurley, to meet up with Matt & his groomsmen to walk down to the church together. It is lovely when I am allowed to discreetly photograph a church ceremony and I was even allowed to access the organ loft for a cracking view of the church. Following the Ceremony and a few family group photos, Lucie & Matt travelled to their Wedding reception at Bisham Abbey by boat, what a cracking idea on such a beautiful day. I did have my sea legs on, for the main group shot which was taken from the middle of the River! The afternoon seemed to flow beautifully and we finished off the day with a few creative evening shots around the abbey….
