Looking forward to Christmas already? Well I am still trying to catch up with blogging all my fab Weddings from last year, here is a warming December Wedding for you to enjoy today….
Debbie & Tom’s Winter Wedding was held at St Mary’s Church, Iffley Village, with their Wedding reception at The Great Barn, Aynho, an 18th Century Barn near Banbury in Oxfordshire. My day started with the girls preparation in Sutton Courtenay before heading over to St Mary’s in Iffley, a stunning church set in a lovely part of Oxford. After the ceremony was over, a few family groups shots took place, then whilst all the guests made their way to the barn, we headed down to the nearby Iffley lock to get a few shots of Debbie & Tom. Although dry, boy did the wind blow strongly! It was a full time job to stop things blowing away. We had planned this small excursion with Debbie & Tom well in advance of their wedding, full marks for braving the cold and wind you two and getting down to the lock (watch out for the manic dancing Christmas Tree below to see how strong that wind really was!). Then off to the Great Barn to warm up, enjoy great food, laugh, dance and feel festive!
I love Winter Weddings, I think its the smell of mulled wine & roaring log fires! The Great Barn at Aynho is a great venue for winter weddings with two log fires, the barn such a cozy feel. If you are planning your Wedding at The Great Barn Aynho, Winter or any other time of year I’d love to hear from you, please dont hesitate to contact me.
It was a great day, here are just a few images that tell the story of Debbie & Tom’s day…
