to Neil Hanson Photography BLOG…… I am a full-time professional Wedding and Portrait Photographer with a passion for creating beautiful, fun, modern Photography. Based in the beautiful Cotswold Area, close to the market town of Witney, Oxfordshire. So lucky to have such wonderful surrounding of The Cotswolds ANOB, historical Oxford & the Oxfordshire countryside right on my doorstep.
I love visiting Cornwall & Devon, having family based there for many years provided a perfect opportunity to combine my love of Wedding Photography and passion for Landscape Photography perfectly. Visiting as often as I can, so happy to provide Wedding Photography coverage for all of Cornwall and anywhere in between (and of course take in the amazing Cornish scenery and coastline when I can).
Why “NordicPics”?
Well “Nordic” stems back to an nickname from my old schooldays. With a Scandinavian surname, blonde hair and blue eyes I guess you can see why…
My work is mainly focused on Weddings & Portraits, although I do have a passion for creating Fine Art Landscape Photography images in my “spare” time! With a love of the great outdoors, I try to get out as often as I can with a sturdy pair of walking boots (& camera).

Hi Neil, my husband and I are having a wedding ceremony in China this Christmas, and we would like to have a pre-wedding shoot, and getting some nice pictures for this event.
