Caswell House Winter Wedding

Blogging!….. not a regular task I have been able to spend much time on all year due to a non stop workload…. so here goes….

As the snow falls outside to start our Winter proper I’m looking back to this time last year. Finola and Tim held their beautiful Caswell House Winter Wedding on a misty Winter’s day in December. Starting early at the Principle Oxford Spires Hotel with all the excitement of the bridal preparations. Before heading across Oxford to St Aloysius Catholic Church, The Oxford Oratory. I always love coming back here to cover weddings, set back from the Woodstock Road in central Oxford, you would hardly know this stunning church could open up inside to such a magnificent architectural wonder. It is also lovely to work inside such a huge space and discreetly switch vantage points during the ceremony, including dashing up the steep staircase for a view from the balcony. After the ceremony we all headed over to the beautiful Caswell House and a few couple portraits in the gardens, before the remaining guests arrived. An enthusiastic confetti throw then followed, before everyone was seated for the Wedding breakfast feast. A truly stunning cake by the Pretty Cake Company was the centrepiece of the reception barn alongside the Caswell Christmas tree! A wintery mist came down as the sun faded away, to make for moody evening portraits in the gardens of Caswell House before the evening hours were danced away…..

    My friend has recommended you as a wedding photographer and I wondered if you would be able t send me some pricing please?

    We are looking to get married on Thursday 7th March 2019. Ideally I would really like to have photos take from getting ready with the bridesmaids to first dance, if possible!
