Cogges Farm Wedding - Vicky & Dan

Wow! What a day we had last year for a stunning Cogges Farm Wedding in Witney for Vicky & Dan. Cogges Farm is a working farm & museum where families can enjoy feeding the animals and explore this pretty farm. The venue was a perfect choice for them both as they had a lot of emotional connections to this beautiful rustic wedding barn in the heart of Witney in Oxfordshire.

“There would be lots of details” I was told….. I was not disappointed! So I arrived early at the venue to capture the huge amount of work Vicky & Dan had put into styling their wedding, just the way they imagined. The boys arrived suited & started work on the finishing touches well before the guests started to arrive. What an entrance Vicky had on the magnificent Horse & Carriage, perfect for a Cogges Farm Wedding! After an emotional ceremony & brilliant sing a long “reading” it was a very relaxed afternoon, I love to document weddings this way with little intervention, a handful of family shots and simply capturing the day as it unfolds.

The stunning centrepiece of the Wedding reception was the amazing cake provided by The Pretty Cake Company – “A four tier Ivory wedding cake with patches of hand piped lace highlighted with pearl lustre and further decorated with a selection of varying shades of nude coloured roses.”

Hog roast in the evening, the prefect smell to a Rustic Barn Wedding! With guests laughing & chatting outdoors on a balmy summers evening, the first dance started and a chance to let off some of that excess energy on the dance floor! It was a beautiful day and we were treated to a simply stunning sunset to finish the day off!
