A few weeks ago, in mid May, we had a short mid-week break away staying at the stunning Hell Bay Hotel on the Island of Bryher, Isles of Scilly.
Armed with my GoPro along with the most perfect travel camera, the Fuji X-Pro2, a couple of lenses, polariser & a few lee filters – I took some pictures!
Having spent many family holidays on Scilly, it had been high on my wish list to stay at the Hell Bay Hotel one day. Bryher is just a stunning little island, my a favourite by far, when the sun comes out – its just paradise! It was a dream come true to just stay here, but the food, well, I can’t begin to describe – you will just have to go & sample this for yourself !

You can’t visit Cornwall & not watch the sun set, blessed with this view on the evening before travelling to Scilly…
The flights to the islands are an experience, all part of the adventure, best described as vintage! We were whisked over to Byher with such efficiency, taxi to the quay, straight on the jet boat & we had arrived
Within couple of hours, we had flown, taxied, jet boated, checked in, consumed a pastie & hired out a couple of Kayaks were paddling our way to The New Inn on Tresco for some refreshment! Then off to relax on Samson for the afternoon… Bliss!
We paddled back to Bryher to explore our new home for the next few days….
Then at a leisurely pace we just explored the island for a couple of days….
A trip over to Trecso to walk on the deserted beaches on our final day – the sea mist rolled in!
It was very hard to say goodbye 🙁
