I can’t believe it’s almost December already! This year has really gone quickly by, seems like yesterday I was covering Jenny & Fred’s Winter Wedding at Little Barrington Church and the following Wedding reception at The Angel, Burford, last December. Being a keen cyclist, I often cycle through many Cotswold villages and keep an eye out for the church, passing by & thinking “it would be nice to cover a Wedding there someday!” St Peter’s Church, in the lovely village of Little Barrington was one of those….. and what a cracking Winter’s day we had enjoyed! Jenny & Fred chose a late afternoon Winter ceremony time for their Wedding with transport provided by John Deere tractors!
I had been set a few challenges on the day – night-time confetti throwing, tractor lights came in handy here and “we will be driving up Burford High Street in the tractor, would be great to get a few images” so a carefully placed remove flash did the job perfectly, I was pretty chuffed with the result…..
The Wedding reception was held at Jenny & Fred’s favourite Burford pub (and definitely one on mine now), such a warm & welcoming inn, with garden bonfires, hog roast & sparklers to party the night away….. Happy anniversary guys!
