Rachael & Luke’s Oxfordshire Farm Wedding:
One of my most local Weddings last year, I had the pleasure of documenting Rachael & Luke’s September Wedding in North Leigh Oxfordshire. I arrived at St Mary’s Church early afternoon, which contains a fabulous historic 15th century painting. I met up with Luke & the boy’s, who were in a very jovial mood from the off! Guests arrived, ushers ushered & straight into the Wedding ceremony. With the legal document signing over, everyone exited the church & queued up for one of the most enthusiastic confetti throw’s I have ever seen!
Quick sprint down the lane & it was lovely to watch the procession of guests make their way from the church to the farm ,where a marquee had been constructed on the lawn. A lively drinks reception followed, Karina Bell Harpist added the background soundtrack. Luke was obviously feeling like a very brave man, having 3 best men to delivering a hilarious speech! Most of the day had been very dull & overcast, but a short cameo appearance by the sun created a dramatic sunset, so it was a quick dash outside between courses to catch that moment…… Lanterns lit, & the evening fired up with lots of shapes being put down on the dance floor…. A fabulously relaxed homely Wedding on a farm its was an honour to be part of……
Heres a fews images to tell the story of the day…..
