As I arrived at Buckland Church, on the morning of Edda & Wilbur’s Oxfordshire Marquee Wedding day last September, I was simply stunned at the floral display in front of me! The front entrance to every available space inside the church was wall to wall flowers! From that point on I knew my camera would be working overtime all day, just capturing the detail & work that had been put into Edda & Wilbur’s Wedding! Edda’s mum had beautifully handmade the dress and I met up with Edda & the bridesmaids at The Cotswold Plough Hotel in Clanfield, before heading over Buckland Church for the ceremony. Wilbur’s love of flowers was inspired by his childhood memories of his mother’s floristry business, entering the church was just like walking into a florist! All the hard work and amazing creations were produced by Simon Lycett Florist. After the ceremony Edda & Wilbur were called back into the church for their own private serenade by the Swindon Male Voice Choir. The wow factor didn’t stop there when we all arrived back at the Marquee in a field close to their home, split into 3 separate areas, each unique with its own special floral touches.
This is just some of the many images I could have posted, it was a remarkable day!
I love Oxfordshire Marquee Weddings, so if you are holding your wedding reception in a marquee, tipi or anywhere else I’d love to hear from you.
a very lovely wedding. Have you ever tried having the bride and groom stand in a dance stance holding very still while you had everyone else dance around them? A slow shutter speed makes this killer photo. 🙂
