With these dark cold Winter days, it is a joy to look back over the summer months & re-visit all my lovely Weddings again. Back in July and during a heat wave (yes we did have one this year), I had the real pleasure in documenting Kat & Warren’s Isis Farmhouse Wedding in Iffley village, Oxford. I arrived early in in the morning to capture all the preparation details at The Oxford Thames Four Pillars hotel. The Wedding was to take place aboard the 19th Century ‘College Barge’, which is permanently moored in the grounds of the Hotel. After a very emotional ceremony, a short drinks reception & a chance for a few family photos it was soon time for the confetti & a pirate salute for the Bride & groom! We all boarded one of Salter’s Steamers boats to cruise down the Thames to The Isis Farmhouse in Iffley, for the main reception. What a relaxing way to travel, just taking in the beautiful scenery go by… (although being a “heatwave” a fair few brave souls were leaping into the Thames that day!). The band started playing, the drink began to flow, garden games in full swing it was soon time to leave as my coverage ended when Kat & Warren made their grand entrance into dinner.
What a beautiful day! many congratulations again, wishing you all the very best for your new adventure together…. A “few” images, it was so hard to choose…..
If you are looking for a contemporary, documentary approach to your Isis Farmhouse Wedding photography I’d love to hear from you.
