Isles of Scilly – An Island Paradise
Back in August this year we had an amazing week’s family holiday in the beautiful The Isles of Scilly. A rare occurance indeed in the life of a Wedding Photographer! Earlier in the year I had invested in the superb Fuji x-Pro1 compact camera system, mainly for my Wedding & Portrait photography work, but also the desire to stop lumping huge camera gear around with me on family holidays! That has been well & truly banished into distant memory now I am very happy to report, the X-Pro is just a superb lightweight alternative to huge DSLR’s. Armed with a set of Lee Seven5 filters, a lightweight tripod it was if I hardly had any weight to carry around with me all day long.
A few images form an amazing week in The Isles of Scilly; stunning sunsets, deserted beaches, amazing weather, beautiful coastal walks, crystal blue waters, walks out into the sea (which seemed never ending) and the odd ices cream or two! If you have never experienced the Islands before you just don’t know what you are missing, a truly stunning holiday (and photographic) location!
