Nicola & Adam’s Caswell House Wedding – May 2013

What a pleasure it was back in May this year to document Nicola & Adam’s wonderful Rustic inspired French themed Wedding day. Held at the stunning Cotswold Wedding venue of Caswell House, near Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

It had already been a long weekend for me and to be greeted with a beautiful sunny day when I open the curtains was a lovely surprise, especially as I knew Nicola & Adam desperately wanted an outdoor ceremony. Caswell is one of the closest Wedding venues I have to me, so a short trip & I was out into their wonderful gardens before anyone had arrived. It’s my quite time before the day gets going! The accommodation at Caswell is close by, making it easy to cover both the Bride & Groom’s preparations in the morning when they all arrived. Soon the day guests started to arrive and the day was well under way…

Tracey from Distinctive Petals provided all the wonderful arrangements for the day, I especially loved how the aisle had been decorated for the outdoor ceremony. Sam from The Pretty Cake Company created the most amazing “wonky” cake I have ever seen – it was a work of art! I was a little nervous however trying to balance the Wedding rings on top of the delicate flower!

Sadly the day disappeared far to quickly, a lovely relaxed afternoon soon turned into the evening. Not before a few extra Bride & Groom portraits as the sun was setting…. I love the idea of a Caricaturist and the brilliant Sensible Pencil arrived in the evening providing lots of amusement for all his subjects before the evening dancing started!
