Tamsin & Stuart’s Winter Wedding at Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire
What a beautiful crisp, bright winter’s day it was back in early December last year for Tamsin & Stuart’s big day. My day started with a quick visit to the church then onto Kirtlington Park – a stunning 18th Century listed Country House in the heart of Oxfordshire with breathtaking views! Stuart & his best man were busy putting all the final finishing touches to the decorations & tables, it is great wandering around wedding venues before everyone else arrives, feels like I have the whole place to myself…..Then it was off to see Tamsin at the nearby Dashwood Hotel for a few preparation photos. I grew up in Kidlington, so it was great to go back to my local church of St. Mary’s. Tamsin & Stuart has made all the interior decorations for the church, a real winter woodland feel, the white twigs & fairy lights made for a very special atmosphere for the day. There was just enough time to get a few family group shots after the ceremony, before started to freeze and to make use of the remaining natural light we headed off to Kirtlington Park for the reception and a beautiful sunset. A couple of well primed ushers helped out to make the large group shot as quick and easy as possible in the fading light and dropping temperatures, with a couple more groups in one of the magnificent rooms, lots of candid drink reception images in the house and before dinner 7 speeches started. The evening dancing got under way and a few more Bride & Groom portraits to finish off a beautiful day.
