The hottest day of the year so far last weekend & how lucky am I to have been covering Xing & Gary’s Humanist Ceremony at the stunningly beautiful Old Swan and Minster Mill in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire and just five minutes down the road from my front door (more on this in a moment!)…..
The Old Swan is a real gem, an“chocolate box” Oxfordshire Wedding venue if there ever was one….. I was walking from at car park when I arrived and only an Aston Martin just happened to roll up and park outside! That was a photo opportunity not to be missed….. Xing & Gary held their official Wedding ceremony with the backdrop of Sydney opera house in Australia a few weeks prior & this day was another chance for close relatives who couldn’t make it, to celebrate with them again. The service was held in the garden temple, what a beautiful location down by the river & their drinks reception on the terrance besides the river. It was so hot I must admit there was a temptation to jump in! Refreshed & ready to go again we wandered around the extensive garden where there is almost too many fabulous spots to get photos. We did check to see how Andy was progressing (2 sets up at the time) and thought a cheeky set of tennis would help him win the third & final set 🙂
5 minutes from the door meant I walked in to see the final moments of the Wimbledon final – a fabulous day all round!

It was one of these “where were you” moments on Sunday as we played some tennis in celebration of Andy Murray being 2 sets up in the Mens Wimbledon Tennis final = priceless!
