A few promotional images that were taken today for The Pretty Cake Company, based in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire
This is a new vintage Wedding Cake display, just completed yesterday by the very talented Samantha, a huge thank you must go out to Caswell House Cotswold Wedding Venue, near Brize Norton, who allowed us to use their venue to get a few shots of this amazing cake. This stunning cake is a pale champagne, finished with a topaz lustre. We have an intricate piped lace effect on 2 tiers (Samantha’s own freehand design!). There are strings of pearls draping from the top tier which have been finished with a pearlescent lustre. The whole cake is finished with a selection of amazingly delicate pink vintage roses, powder blue hydrangeas, white blossoms and stephanotis flowers.

What a beautiful cake. I take detail shots of cakes too but never thought of blogging about them. Certainly food for thought (pun well and truly intended)
