Friday 17th August 2012:
It was one of those “all too common” summertime sunshine & showers kind of days for Gemma & Paul’s Wedding at the lovely Bay Tree Hotel, Burford. I arrived early to get a few venue shots of the Bay Tree in the rain, before heading down the road to meet up with Gemma & her bridesmaids at the Lamb Inn. Both locations are very close so it was easy to nip back & forth to catch Paul & his groomsmen during their preparations as well. After the ceremony, drinks were served in the terrace gardens of The Bay Tree, although the summerhouse was used quite regularly in avoiding the showers! Poor Gemma had torn her ankle ligament a few weeks beforehand, but that didn’t stop her at all, I was amazed at how she fought off the pain all day long!. The speeches were hilarious from start to finish & after the meal I sneaked away with Gemma & Pauls for a few more shots around Burford as the weather finally came good for us.
