Saturday 17th July:
I didn’t have a Wedding to cover on Saturday this week, so I made the most of the day off and headed for Fairford and the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT). I found a great little spot a few years ago to sit, right below the display line. Living fairly close to Fairford and traffic is always a nightmare on this weekend every year, so packed up the push bike with as much camera gear as I could and headed off. Most of the day was heavy with cloud, but thankfully towards the end of the day the sun came out and we got some blue!

I love them as well Nancy…. so much fun and harder than I thought to get good pics….. I do cycle over and sit in the cheep seats…. (outside of the airfield fence..) 🙂
Dennis,Stephen and myself were there! Stephen has some great camcorder footage,(he has put it on youtube)I thought the Raptor was awesome and you have captured it brilliantly,also the Vulcan bomber was a highlight and of course the Red Arrows are also superb.
