Saturday 27th March:
I met up with Magenta and Mark today at the tranquil setting of the Beetle & Wedge Boathouse Restaurant, Moulsford, Oxfordshire. Situated right on the Thames with its own private launch, the Beetle & Wedge Boathouse is a small and intimate restaurant, with tons of character and a fab location for a Wedding reception
It was great to meet up with Magenta and Mark again and chat about all their Wedding Day plans and schedules. I had never visited the boathouse before so it was a great opportunity to scout some locations and just have a fun hour or so pre-Wedding shoot. The weather was what it was!!…. and most of the time we seemed to spend dodging the heavy showers to try to get some shots without the brollies….
As the weather was so variable I decided to shoot some “moodier shots” with the boats to bring out the heavy sky and also a “Shelter from the Storm” shot at the restaurant entrance….
